The Canadian Association of Fire Investigators (CAFI) is pleased to present a two-day course designed to show fire investigators, insurance professionals, inspectors and attorneys the common origins and causes of commercial kitchen system fires. Participants of this practical, down-to-earth seminar will:  learn to identify and evaluate common fire hazards;  learn how to inspect and investigate fires in commercial kitchens;  become familiar with relevant Fire Codes;  identify serious non-compliant issues which pose dangerous fire hazards;  and learn the characteristics of fires in these systems.  Victoria Fire Department has offered to host this course at their headquarters.  Attendees will receive up to 1.2 CEU's from the ICC for successful completion of the course.  For additional information on ICC CEU credits visit the International Code Council website at www.iccsafe.org.  Health Inspectors will receive 12 PDH credits from the Canadian institute of Public Health Inspectors (www.ciphi.ca) upon successful completion of the course.
